The mission of the ITF Union is to safeguard and promote the original teachings of General Choi Hong Hi, founder of Taekwon-Do, and spread his life philosophy, which extends beyond martial technique. This involves teaching Taekwon-Do as a comprehensive discipline that fosters not only physical skills but also fundamental values such as self-discipline, respect, courtesy, and personal development. The ITF Union is committed to working in harmony with all Taekwon-Do organizations, clubs, and practitioners to achieve greater cohesion and unity within the global community. Through seminars, competitions, workshops, and international events, it seeks to provide its members with continuous opportunities for learning and personal growth, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences among practitioners from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

The vision of the International Taekwon-Do Federation Union (ITF Union) is to establish a globally united community of Taekwon-Do practitioners, where regardless of affiliation, race, creed, or nationality, everyone works together to preserve and promote the original teachings of General Choi Hong Hi. The ITF Union aims to become the international benchmark that unites the various associations, groups, and clubs of Taekwon-Do under one structure, respecting the autonomy and uniqueness of each entity, but fostering a sense of collaboration, unity, and mutual understanding. Its long-term goal is to contribute to the growth of Taekwon-Do not only as a physical discipline but as a way of life based on principles of respect, integrity, and self-improvement.
Our Purpose
The core purpose of the ITF Union is to create a global platform that serves as a space where all Taekwon-Do practitioners, regardless of affiliation, can share and enrich one another, both technically and philosophically.
