On April 12-13, 2025, Moscow will host one of the biggest international Taekwon-Do tournaments of the year: The Open International Tournament “Eurasian Cup” ITFU, organized by the International Taekwondo Federation Union (ITFU).
Held at the prestigious Cheryomushki Sports Complex, the event will bring together competitors of all ages and skill levels, from color belts to black belts, competing in individual sparring, tul, and team events.
A Challenge for the Best Taekwon-Do Practitioners
With athletes from multiple countries, the Eurasian Cup 2025 will be a high-level competition featuring divisions based on age and rank:
- Children (5 to 9 years old)
- Cadets (10 to 13 years old)
- Juniors A (14-15 years old) & Juniors B (16-17 years old)
- Adults (18 to 35 years old)
- Veterans (36+ years, with subcategories up to 56+ years old)
The tournament will include individual and team tul, individual sparring, and team sparring, with the team category reserved exclusively for black belts.
Registration & Participation Details
Registration will remain open until April 7, 2025, and interested participants must submit their applications via email to itfu-russia@yandex.ru. No changes or late applications will be accepted beyond this deadline.
Competition Rules & Equipment Requirements
The tournament will follow the official ITFU competition rules, which can be found at www.itfusportingevents.com. All participants must wear the official ITF Union dobok and approved protective gear, including:
- Gloves and foot protectors (red or blue, depending on assigned position)
- Mouthguard and groin protector (mandatory for juniors and adults)
- Headguard (red or blue, mandatory for all categories)
- Shin guards (mandatory from 14 years old and above)
